Principal Lauren Cunningham

Dear Dieterich Parents and Guardians,

It is my great honor to begin my sixth year leading our dedicated staff and enthusiastic “Bobcats” at Dieterich Elementary School. This year also marks my twelfth year serving in East Aurora School District. I previously spent eight years in the classroom before continuing my work in education as an assistant professor at the University of St. Francis in Joliet.

At Dieterich Elementary, our goal is to ensure that every student is prepared to be college or career ready. We are excited to provide a year filled with engaging and meaningful learning opportunities.

Parent and family involvement plays a vital role in helping students reach their full potential. We encourage you to stay connected by volunteering, attending school events, and joining us for our monthly Coffee with Cunningham parent meetings (our version of Coffee with the Principal).

I look forward to partnering with you to support every student in achieving their goals and having a successful school year. Please feel free to contact me with any questions, concerns, or ideas you may have.

Estimados padres y familias de Dieterich,

Es un gran honor para mí comenzar mi sexto año al frente de nuestro dedicado personal y nuestros entusiásticos “Bobcats” en Dieterich Elementary School. Este año también marca mi duodécimo año al servicio de East Aurora School District. Anteriormente, pasé ocho años en el salón de clases antes de continuar mi trabajo en ámbito educativo como profesor adjunto en University of St. Francis en Joliet.

En Dieterich Elementary, nuestro objetivo es garantizar que todos los estudiantes estén preparados para la universidad o una carrera profesional. Nos entusiasma ofrecer un año lleno de oportunidades de aprendizaje interesantes y significativas.

La participación de los padres y la familia es vital para ayudar a los estudiantes a alcanzar su máximo potencial. Los animamos a mantenerse conectados participando como voluntarios, asistiendo a eventos escolares y acompañándonos en nuestras reuniones mensuales de padres Café con Cunningham (nuestra versión de café con la directora).
