District 131 families are invited to attend the 32nd Annual Back-to-School Bash at Dr. Martin Luther King Park on Sunday, August 11, from 1 to 6 p.m. The park is located on the corner of Farnsworth Avenue and Grand Boulevard.
The event is hosted by City of Aurora 7th Ward Alderman Scheketa Hart-Burns, Main Baptist Church and community partners. There will be free food, t-shirts, haircuts, hair styling and school supplies for students. Special guests include The Tommies Reunion Choir, The Chicago Mass Choir, and many more.
