Holland Lauren 748x1024I am honored to have the opportunity to continue to serve the students and families of Dieterich. I am looking forward to working with our dedicated staff to provide the best possible educational program for our students. I have been in the field of education for more than 25 years. I have worked with a variety of students’ ranging in age from kindergarten through college. I believe it is important for us to work together to ensure your children reach their full potential.

Before becoming principal of Dieterich Elementary School, I served as the Principal of Brady Elementary School for two years. I was their Assistant Principal for three years before that. I began my career in East Aurora School District as an assistant principal of Bardwell Elementary School. Previously to joining East Aurora School District, I was an assistant professor at the University of St. Francis in Joliet where I taught classes for individuals interested in working with students who receive special education services. My teaching experiences includes three years of teaching third grade, two years teaching special education at the elementary school level, and teaching special education at the middle school level for three years.

As your Principal, it is important to me that everyone who steps through our doors are excited to be here! This attitude enables us to meet the challenges of academic excellence in a positive, fun, and nurturing environment. My door is always open and I welcome your input. Me siento honrada de tener la oportunidad de seguir sirviendo a los estudiantes y las familias de Dieterich.
